Beach Raker is proud to be one of the only companies capable of providing sanitization and sand sifting. While management of the seaweed is critical to maintaining one’s beach, the upper portions, dry sand areas, is what is utilized most by beachgoers. At Beach Raker, we use a combination of specialized equipment including Barber Surf Rakes, Beach Tech beach cleaners, Cherrington zero-radius Sand Sifter, and Barber Sandman to groom and sift the upper portion of beach. Our beach grooming and sand sifting equipment are equipped with 30mm screens that are capable of removing micro-trash such as, cigarette butts, bottle caps and plastic straws while aerating the sand at the same time. This leaves a flat, soft and fluffy appearance and texture for beachgoers.

It is nearly impossible to pick up these small items by hand.

As the equipment moves across the beach, the mechanical tines rotate through the sand and pick up small objects and deposit them into the waste bucket at the back of the machines.

While specialized for use on beaches, the equipment also works with volleyball courts, playgrounds, golf courses and the removal of rocks in horse paddocks.
